These booty shorts are great. I have ordered booty shorts from other vendors before and when I receive them in the mail, I am rather disappointed because instead of being actual shorts, they are more like undergarment booty shorts. This was my fear in ordering these but that was not the case at all. These shorts fit well; the provide total rear coverage. My only issue with these is that they tend the ride up after jumps and kicks.

This is a wonderful product, exactly what we were looking for. The material is wonderful and the colors are wonderful. The only problem I had was the sizing. My daughter wears a child medium to large leotard and has worn a child medium in every other short of this type that we have purchased in the past. I ordered this short in a medium as well and it falls off of her it is so large. I'd have to say this product seems to run large. We will save these for future use and order more to fit her now as this is a great product and very reasonably priced.

I don't Dance anymore after injuring my ankle so i wear dance clothes as normal clothes now! But i Bought these shorts to wear for my high school Pep rally and i bought them in blue! I am going to wear yellow tights under neath and i love it! it looks amazing and the color is the bright bold color i was hoping for!

As noted in previous reviews, they do run small. ( A child small fit "just right" on a 44lb 7 year old). Very bright colors. Made well for a low price. Great buy!

I bought these shorts online and thought they were really cute. Unforturnatly I have rather long legs. These shorts were very short and if I lifted my leg up, you saw my bottom as well. I would recommend getting the longer pair of shorts much like this style like me. Hope I helped.

I bought these for my daug in a child small she is 9 and about 49 lbs they were small on her should have gotten a med. Yet, Tias brand in a child small fit her fine. would buy again in larger size. My daug is pretty tiny maybe to be on the safe side order a size up

A dancer always has a pair of booty shorts in her dance bag. So I ordered these pair, to add another to my collection and because they're amazingly priced! When I received them I tried them on instantly and they felt and looked great. But once I got to the studio I realized I could barely do a leap without the shorts majorly riding up and giving me a huge wedgie. They look awesome, but at the end of rehearsal your whole butt will be hanging out! It was really uncomfortable. Note: I'm 5'4 @ 110lbs and got a size small.

The shorts are a great fabric, and fit well except that my butt cheeks actually come out of the bottom. I am a small girl and I like my shorts to be tiny but after lifting a leg in the air I dont want to be wearing a thong!

I love these shorts. So far i have purchased three pairs. I wear them for dance classes, our musical theater show rehearsals and under cute sundresses for performance. they keep their shape when you wash them, and move very well without ridding up. I wish they had more colors available!

I actually bought these shorts to wear for ice skating, and they work great! theyre really stretchy, but dont listen to the advice to go a size down! mine were the right size, and they almost fit too tight! not uncomfortably though. theyre really great, cute, comfortable, and i plan on wearing them for a long time!!

I love the feel of this short but they dont fit right whatsoever! The crotch area should be an inch wide becuase I feel very uncomftorble and I always have to wear a pair of shorts under it or over them. Balera: rethink the design! Consumer: Dont buy!!!

My daughter is not a dancer but insists on wearing the very low rise jeans which I do not approve of. We have fought for a year about this very issue and was told about the "booty short" by her friend who is a dancer. The conflict was resolved by getting her the "booty short" to wear under her low-rise jeans and avoid the dreaded "plumber" look! She's happy & so am I!

I ordered a few of these for our team to try them on for correct sizing. Each dancer that tried them on complained that they were WAY too short and they felt uncomfortable wearing them. I know these say that they are booty shorts but I didn't think that would mean that their booty would hangout of them!! Wearing these with tights might be ok but my dancers much prefer the "longer- length shorts" they still appear to be short and are comfortable but do not show everyone half of your booty!
