For an inexpensive leotard, I was happily surprised to find it such a good piece! I am shorter through the torso and it fit my body length perfectly which is a bit of a rare thing for me. Comfortable on, I'll definately be getting other colours.

Very basic leotard. Great fit and an all around perfect leotard for practice. It is very comfortable, washes well. Great for the money.

This is a great basic for the price. Pretty color options, but the lighter colors (i.e. buttercup yellow) is a little sheer even with the shelf bra; those who are more "developed" will have problems with their nipples showing. Otherwise I would have one in every color!

Wow, great colors! I got the seabreeze color and it was the most amazing light blue green. The fabric felt very soft, so comfortable! But I think it runs a little small, so you should get a size bigger than you usually get. But I will get more of these!

Very comfortable. The straps fit me just right and do not slip or dig in. The shelf lining is a bit long, ending around mid-ribcage, which looks a little awkward but is okay otherwise.

The colors were much brighter than I expected but still very pretty - 'wild rose' is more of a hot pink and 'blue mist' is a really bright sky blue. I know it's hard to judge colors from a computer monitor, but I thought from the names the colors would be more soft and muted.

I ordered from the website on Thursday evening because my daughter had basically outgrown everything and the prices at our dance studio are ridicuously high for basic need items (practice leotards, footless tights, etc.) I was amazed that when I got home on Monday afternoon, my package had already arrived and everything was exactly the way we were anticipating. Overall, a pretty average leotard. However, the straps are very short and dig into my shoulder a little bit. The leotard also runs very small. It's pretty average.

This leotard is attractive, well made, and comfortable. I am 5'4", 130 lbs, and full busted. The large fits great. I got one in burgundy and like it so much that I may order more. The burgundy is a true burgundy, not the purplish shade shown in the color chip. This leotard is an outstanding value and I think you will love it.

My daughter reports that the pinch front rubs on her chest in an uncomfortable way. Also, a hole in the side seam appeared at the first wearing. It also runs small.

This leotard is pretty, well cut at the bodice and back, but the waist is cinched in with darts that make it difficult for a short-waisted person to wear without experiencing chafing.

The leotard is great for anything I need to do in it, but the only downside I have found is that the lining is insufficient for what I like to have and need in my leotards, and can be embarrassing if I have to wear the leotard without a sports bra. :)

This is a nice practice leotard; I found it soft, comfortable, and breathable. I am picky about the straps on a cami leo and these were perfect, they stay in place; the back is also a good cut, not too low. So very comfortable.
I love that it comes in so many colors; I LOVE the blue mist, it's a really pretty shade of blue.

I got this for my daughter's ballet class. It's a really nice leotard and a great price too. This is the 3rd time we've purchased this leotard. Pretty true to size. My daughter wears a size 14 (sometimes 16) in childrens and she's able to wear a large child in this leotard. We bought an adult small and that fit well too but the straps were just a tad too big and falling off a little. The large child fits her great and straps stay up and it's very flattering (although she's growing like a weed so I'm sure she'll be in the adult small before we know it). Stretchy enough to give room but conforms nicely to the body too. Great leotard. Highly recommend.

I do love this leotard. I own a purple one, and wear it all the time. The low semi-low back is so attractive - not too low and does not touch your neck, which I like. I have just ordered it in other colors! The only bad thing is that I am afraid it won't last as long as i would prefer. I can see that it is starting to lose its shape. But I will continue ordering it. Love this one!

I bought this leotard for my ballet classes, because i needed some leos that were in more interesting colors than plain black. I got two, one in the gray, and one in i think its cornflower blue, both of which look really nice. The colors look great and rich, but not too bright or sharp (this is before I've washed them, though). I have lager breasts than most dancers--a lage B, small C cup--so i have to get leos with shelf lining, making this one seem perfect; my only complaint ids that because my breasts are bigger, the elastic of the shelf lining pulls the outside of the leotard in a wierd way on the side seams. Regardless, though, its one of the better ones even for lager chested dancers. I just happened to but it in two different sizes because i wasn't sure which one would fit better, and the one in a size larger than my regular size fits better out of the two, so id say if your uncertain, go a size up. Also, the elastic of the shelf lining and the seams all over were a bit itchy, but i dont know if that will go away after washing it a bit.

The leotard runs slightly large in size. I would recommend this fit for someone who is average to tall. If you are average/short to petite, I'd order a size smaller than you normally do.

I bought this leotard for my daughter. It is a pretty design and we found it in the exact color (a buttery yellow) that she needed for a specific part in a recital. However, I bought the medium child size, and it was a bit snug all over. I decided to go one side up to the large child size just to give her a little more room to move and to grow, and it was huge -- just falling off of her. I wondered why one size up was so extremely different.

The lavander color is pretty in this leotard, but the only thing is that it was kind of see-through, especially with tights underneath. The quality is decent and the design is ok but nothing special. The open back is the nicest feature.

I bought 2 of these leo black and bungury color.. even both are " same size " the black one fits perfect the bungury is bigger.
But they are fine for practice. I like them the price is good in off.

I have bought so many leotards from different brands but kept on returning them. I finally found this leotards to be my favorite. It washes well, does not shrink. The cut is flattering. Fabric is thinker than other brands, so it does hide things. I owned 8 of these, in different colors. I like everything about it except the fact that sometime size is not consistent in different colors.

Unfortunately after selecting adult sizes I still managed to end with child sizes and will have to manipulate this purchase for an adult. However, I will still purchase more Balera products. They fit well to the body and don't leave a dancer focusing on whether everything is sitting correctly. Originally, this purchase would have been used in a performance setting but now will most likely be used for rehearsals(or a lolly).

I measured my daughter 5 different ways and chose the size based on the sizing chart. She fell precisely in the middle of the range for child's small. Imagine our surprise when the leotard came and was the size of her baby sister! When I called, I was told that it was just a risk of ordering on the internet, and I would be responsible for the shipping charges! Of course, if I had called to order, they would have told me that a small is 2-4, medium is 6-8, and large is 10-12, but why not just put that information on the website at the point of selection? Arrgggh! I doubt there is anything wrong with the leotard itself, customer service could be a bit more understanding!

I love this leo. I have it in the light yellow and the black. The black is super flattering as is the yellow. I usually don't wear lighter colors as I'm a larger dancer, but this yellow is great! I want to buy it in a few more colors as well. It runs a bit large I think, I'm usually a L and I have this leo in a M and it fits very comfortably.

nice leotard, soft material. runs small but child medium fits my petite/slim(48 lbs)8 year old well right now. had one previously and it maintains it's shape and size if washed in cool water and not over dryed.

I got this leo for class and rehearsal. I have a long torso so I was pleased with the length but the leg opening were quite large and don't hold tightly. I would actually recommend going down a size from what you normally wear if you buy this leo.

This leo is so soft and comfortable, it stays put, and you can't beat this kind of comfort for the price. I have it in a few colors, black included, and I prefer to wear it at almost every class, it's that comfortable. You can easily launder it in the regular wash, and dry it on regular without it shrinking or losing its shape.
