Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

My daughter wanted a well-fitting shoe for jazz class, and is very delighted with these shoes because they allow her to spin and slide easily, things she was finding difficult to do with her dance sneakers. She ordinarily wears a size 3 (girls), so I ordered a 5 and they fit perfectly!
They even look better than in the picture. After rejecting several ill-fitting pairs of shoes, these are the ones we're keeping.

I'm 50 years old and have gained a LOT of weight since stopped dancing due to aging knees. I started dancing again after I got these shoes, which allow my feet to slide and rotate easily so my knees don't get torqued. They offer enough support, are utterly comfortable, and darn cute too!

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

The website and several comments said these should be ordered at least one size large, so that's what I did. When I got them, they were too big. Also, I didn't like the fact that they don't have a split sole (I take jazz), so I gave them to my daughter. She wears a size larger than me, and wanted shoes with suede soles for swing dance. I hope they work for her for that. They weren't bad, just not what I was looking for.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I bought these shoes for zumba workout. I am able to turn much better. My feet don't hurt after working out! The shoes really support my feet. They allow a lot of slide, which can be too much.
In my opinion, these shoes would not be good if you don't have great muscle control to stop from sliding during zumba workout.
These shoes worked great for me.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I have been doing Zumba for about a month and wearing tennis shoes and even bowling shoes to be able to move without tearing up my knees. I saw these and thought I'd try them. OMG! What a difference, now I'm actually wore out from my workout rather than trying to take it easy because of sticking to the floor (traction from tennis shoes is not good on the knees). Although the shoes are narrow and most should order them a full size larger than normal street shoes they fit me perfect! I usually have a hard time finding shoes that fit so well due to my narrow feet, but these shoes seem like they are actually made for narrow feet (hence the reason why you should order a size larger).

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

These shoes are much better than sneakers for Zumba dance lessons and greatly improved my movements, allowing me to slip and slide when needed, and step and stomp when needed. They are however a tad too big - even tho it was recommended to buy 1 to 1 1/2 sizes larger, that I did. Overall, very comfy.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I have been line dancing for only a couple of months and didn't want to spend a fortune on a dance shoe until I was certain I was going to like the class. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shoe!!! The price if perfect. If you have somewhat flatter feet, this shoe has the right amount of arch support. The others I tried had too much arch support and hurt my feet. The shoe is very well made and extremely comfortable!! I wear a 7 1/2 - 8 sneaker and got a size 9 in this shoe. And I still have a little toe room. Feels great
!! I am going to order me 2 more pair, just to make sure I have these dance shoes for a very long time!!!!!!!

They are comfortable and light weight. I will be ordering another pair.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

Males are not catered to in the dancing world: finding a shoe that fits can be nearly impossible. I was happy to see that a "15" in this shoe would (according to the guidelines) fit my male U.S. size 11 foot. While I could put the shoe on and sit comfortably, standing or walking caused my large toe to dig into the top of the toe box. I had to return them. :( If the shoe fits, wear it - but if it doesn't, be warned. I'd recommend these to a SMALL friend.

I use them for my Zumba class. My regular tennis shoes would not allow my feet to turn and slide easy and I kept twisting my knee and if you have ever done that before it doesn't feel to good. So my instructor told me where I could go to find shoes for zumba. So I found these shoes here and I love the color and the style of them. The look even better when I got them copared to website picture. I have told everyone where I got them also how affordable they are. They do great when I zumba now I don't twist my knees. I can now do my turns because the shoes allow my feet to slide across the wood floor with the perfect glide. Thanks so much.

I like them, although I found them extremely uncomfortable around where the arch meets the heal. Thankfully the heal is soft foam rubber stuff so I just cut them off. Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I wear a size 8 in street shoes and ordered a size 9. When it came and I tried it on, my right foot seemed tighter than my left. So I held it up against one another and I could see that the right shoe was slightly shorter than the left. Since it was a defect, customer service was willing to exchange it for me. The second pair fits nicely. It was a little snug at first, but you get used to it after wearing it for awhile. I use it to teach Zumba and it feels great to dance and turn and pivot in it! It is slightly slippery since the bottom is made of suede but it's definitely more comfortable and supportive than my old sneakers.

I get just enough slide for Zumba, so I am not sticking to the floor anymore. I did have to buy a full size up as they run very small. Very light and flexible.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I am so happy with these shoes. I dance on carpet that is NOT friendly to shoes, socks or bare feet, and these shoes are holding up wonderfully. They fit just a little tightly at 1/2 size bigger the first time, but now they have stretched out and are super-comfortable. I do wear thin athletic socks with them, as well, and I have not had any blisters or sore spots. I dance twice on Sundays in these shoes, for a total of 2-3 hours at the end of the day. These have endured 2 Sundays so far, and have not shown any wear other than some slight scuffing on the leather bottom. The price is exceptional, considering my leather ballet shoes are almost completely worn through at the toe, with about 1/2" left keeping them from flopping completely open at the toe. And they were only a few months old. These shoes promise to last quite a bit longer. My one complaint is that the laces don't always stay as tight as I need them to while dancing on carpet. That is pretty easily remedied, however, with some black elastic and an upholstery needle.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I just started taking Salsa lessons I wanted a shoe that was comfortable. It looks just like a sneaker pretty comfortable. Its great to move around in turns and spins are a lot easier now. The shoe is very flexible so its easy to stand on the balls of my feet.
The only con I have is that I wear a size 8 sometimes 8 1/2 I ordered a 9, which fits but I do wish I could of ordered a 9 1/2, since a 10 would of been too big.
All in all its a great shoe for me!

These were recommended for Zumba class, so I purchased them. I have been very satisfied, but I've only worn them twice. I did order up one size and they fit perfectly so thanks to the previous reviewer who suggested this. The shoes provide support but also allow me to perform the spins and twists of Zumba. I will also be wearing these to Salsa class. I am very pleased with these shoes and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting an inexpensive but good dance/Zumba shoe.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

The shoes are very stylish and have a great feel. However, be careful on the sizing. I read the reviews and tried to order based the advices posted. But here is my honest suggestion. Buy the shoe a 1/2 size larger. If you wear a 7 1/2 get the 8. If you wear a 8 get the 9 because they don't come in 1/2 sizes.

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

These are my new favorite shoes when I can count on a good floor (with a fast surface free of broken glass and sticky drink spills). I ordered one size larger and they fit great. I occasionally get a little uncomfortable bone contact on the outside edge of the ball of my right foot when it rolls over the edge; I don't get the same effect on my left foot, but that foot pronates. The rubber heel is okay, but I'd rather have a total suede sole. To keep the suede portion of the soles in good shape, you'll need to buy a wire dance shoe brush [...]

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

I used these for my University Dance Show. They worked great for all three pieces I was in (Jazz, HipHop and Kickline). Definitely order a 1/2 to full size larger. I am usually an 8 to 8 1/2. I ordered a 9 and they're perfect. The only complaint is that it's not very easy to tighten them and have them stay molded to your foot, but they are sooo comfortable.

This shoe is $18 less expensive than others and fits my 8 year old daughter's feet perfectly. They weigh less and are more tapered than other brands of the same shoe. I highly recommend this product for younger dancers, especially those needing new ones every year. We were unsure of her size, so we ordered 2; her best friend wears the smaller size.

By LeftyVerified Purchaser from New Windsor, NY on 12/2/2008
Pros:
Good Value
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Sansha Salsette I Shoe:

The catalogue said to order 3 or 4 sizes larger than normal, so I went with 13, since I usually wear 9,1/2 or 10. They were way too small. I returned them and ordered 14. They were too small, so I gave them away, and ordered size 15. They are tight, too; but I'll try to break them in. The inner heel cushion presses way too much on my arch, so I trimmed the one in the right sneaker. It's tough buying shoes without being able to try them on first.
