I use them to go to dance class, I love the color and the elastic although I needed to loose them up a little bit.what I would love for a ballet slipper is that they have good metatarsal and heel support, because after almost 2 hours it's killing me (I have some trouble with my left leg)

Comments about Bloch Pro Elastic Ballet Slipper:
I use these ballet shoes all the time, and I love them!I am a street shoe size of 6.5 women's, so I order 4.5 and I feel like they could be just a little bit more snug...go for the full 3.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Ok concept design, not so great fit
from Los Angeles, CA
What makes this slipper different from the others is the wider 1/2 inch band elastic that replaces where a traditional drawstring would be. It is not adjustable and does feel a bit wide.It does make it more convenient because there is no stitching needed, however some dancers like I like to custom stitch our elastics. The major problem is how narrow this slipper runs, I got a medium width and it was so narrow that parts of my arch would overflow to the sides. The length is also unusually long, which makes for a lot of material bunching at the tip/ends, and I didn't like how the extra material felt during any pointe a terre.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Quality shoe for beginners
from Brisbane, Australia.
My beginner (adult) students use this shoe. It is ideal as some cannot sew with the elastics preattached, and comes with my preferred style of canvas and split sole. I have discovered you need to go the full three sizes down to get the best fit however. Don't be scared just do it. It is not the prettiest shoe on the foot with the exposed elastic but as long as you're not looking up close it looks like a regular shoe.
Go down the full 3 sizes
About Me Stylish
They are so perfect looking. Attention is definitely drawn to your arch because of the elastic--which is perfect. I went down 2.5 sizes and I feel like they could be just a little bit more snug...go for the full 3.

I read the reviews and got the sizing correct. My street shoe is 7.5-8 and I've got 6.5 that fits perfectly. I'm returning them - they don't look as pictured, not pretty - baggy at the pinky toe area and the heals are sticking out in a very funky way.

I use these ballet shoes all the time! I've been using them for years now, and I love them! They are very inexpensive, while being great quality. I like how they are canvas, as opposed to leather (which doesn't last as long, but is much more easy to wear.) They are very true to size... at first when you order them, though, they seem very small! JUST WEAR THEM A FEW CLASSES- they WILL stretch out! I am a street shoe size of 7.5 women's, so I always order 4.5 and they fit perfectly! I also have somewhat wide feet and I order AC and they are great!!

The sizing chart for this shoe is off. I ordered two sizes smaller than my daughter's street shoe size and they are way too tight/small. I just reordered one size smaller than street shoe size, so we will see how they fit. Since she has put them on her feet and the soles got a little dirty I am unable to return them, so now I have ended up paying double for one pair of shoes! Sizing really needs to be more accurate, to avoid people wasting time and money! Love the shoes they are really cute, but wish I could have avoided the headache that came with them!

I ordered these at my regular street shoe size. They were gigantic. The feel was so loose it looked like I had on clown shoes. I ordered another pair at a full size smaller. The heel was still baggy but now the straps were too tight. All in all, these are not a well fitting shoe. They looked cute online but didn't work out.
