Good overall shoe

Comments about Capezio Glisse Pointe Shoe:
These pointe shoes are good. They are really comfortable, but the only thing that I don't care for is that the heel isn't very tapered, so it looks very baggy on me. My friends all have these shoes and they last for about a year, but I've had the pair I'm in now for about 3 weeks and they're about dead.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Casual/ Recreational
These have been my very first pair of pointe shoes. All the others I tried on at the store I went to looked boxy and short, because they tapered at a weird part of my foot. Finally, on a whim, the salesperson put me in these, and they were perfect! Made my feet look very pretty and streamlined, and easy to get up onto, even for a newbie like me. I have probably medium-high arches, and it curves to them well.I had 10's on at the store, but with thick gel pads. My teacher said to go down a half size because she is having me use lamb's wool. My normal shoe size is 8 1/2-9, so I don't know if Capezio's run smaller or not, but I got a 9 1/2.Dancewear solutions has them for $20 less than the store though, so we came here to buy them after we knew what fit.
Definitely a good buy

Delivery was great. A little long for my foot, but this was my first time buy pointes shoes online. Shank, box, and back were all perfect, bends nicely and shows off arch. Definitley recommend it to people with medium or high arch.
An okay shoe

These are my second pair of pointe shoes and I do not blame the shoes for not fitting my feet; the woman who fitted me for these obviously didn't know anything about fitting pointe shoes. Anyways, after the first few classes, I noticed the shank in both shoes ripped from the sole of the shoe, making the shoe uncomfortable to wear. This shoe's box was very easy to get over, especially for me. I'm still using them, so their lifespan is decent. I don't like how to vamp is for this shoe; it's too long for my short, tapered toes.

I finally found a great pair of pointe s

These are the best fitting pointe shoes I have ever worn! The heel could be a little more narrow, but they have the right combination of flexibility and support.

About Me Professional Dancer
This pointe shoe is the best. I tried on a lot of them but this one, by far was the most comfortable fit. I take classes five days a week and these shoes hold up really well. I recomend them with the carosel toe pads.

I have had the same pointe shoes for 12 years (Grishko Elites) and I recently tried these on for fun. I'm in love with them now and they make my feet look long and lean not short and fat like my Grishko's!
